Eli and Daniel, two Korean American brothers who own a struggling women’s shoe store, have an unlikely friendship with 11-year-old Kamilla. On the first day of the 1992 L.A. riots, the trio must defend the store while contemplating the meaning of family and thinking about personal dreams and the future.

Crackle’s “SuperMansion” Season 2 Streaming February 16

From Stoopid Buddy Stoodios, “SuperMansion” follows the heroic misadventures of a dysfunctional yet well intentioned group of imperfect superheroes. Titanium Rex (voiced by Bryan Cranston, who’s also the series’ executive producer) and the members of the League of Freedom battle public backlash while a computer hack threatens to reveal some of their worst secrets. Starting off in a hole, the League does what they always do: get to digging. Throughout the season, heroes confront villains, invaders and even themselves as they attempt to become trusted champions of Storm City and humanity itself.

Stoopid Buddy Stoodios founders Seth Green, Eric Towner, Matt Senreich and John Harvatine IV spend their days in the studio making puppets for “SuperMansion,” playing with toys, writing crass humor and recording celeb voice-overs for this and their other shows, which include “Robot Chicken” and Netflix’s “Buddy Thunderstruck.

Written and directed by Michel Laprise, KURIOS – Cabinet of Curiosities™ is a tale in which time comes to a complete stop, transporting the audience inside a fantasy world where everything is possible. In this realm set in the latter half of the nineteenth century, reality is quite relative indeed as our perception of it is utterly transformed. The name of the show refers to the humble and strange characters that inhabit the Seeker’s Cabinet of Curiosities.

Geek Lab Interview – Mel Rodriguez – In Stereo

Writer/Director Mel Rodriguez spoke with Alan Ng on the Secret City Geek Lab. They talked about his movie ‘In Stereo” which was shown at 2015 Dances with Films and now available on Video On Demand.

David and Brenda are perfect for each other, and everyone knows it except David and Brenda. After a break-up, they wander through meaningless relationships with others until chance brings them back together on the streets of New York. David invites Brenda to the opening of his first photography exhibit, setting the stage for a night to potentially re-kindle an old romance.
